LOCAL vs DIRECT DELIVERY
Question: What is the difference between Local Delivery Items and Direct Delivery Gift Items? Answer: Local Delivery Items will be ready for student pick up in December, and students will be responsible for arranging delivery to their buyers directly. Direct Delivery Gift Items are a little more expensive, but they will be shipped directly from Washington State nicely packaged and with a gift message during the first two weeks after Thanksgiving. Shipping is included in the price of the item. They will ship anywhere in the contiguous US (not Canada or Hawaii). Question: What is the local delivery zone? Answer: This is the area where the student will be responsible for delivering local delivery items. Each zone would be different for each family based on their particular parameters. Question: When & where do I pick up my orders for local delivery? Answer: Distribution of local delivery items, including Chanukah gifts, is Dec. 2, 2023 at the Webb. A SignUp Genius will come out in November to sign up for a pick up slot, and with further instructions. Question: I can not make distribution of local delivery orders, what do I do? Answer: As this is a mandatory date, please feel free to send someone to pick up your orders for you as your proxy. Be sure to put both your student's name and your proxy's name/contact information in the SignUp Genius when you sign up. Question: I'm 18 years old. Do I need a parent to come with me to pick up my local delivery orders? Answer: No. Students 18 years old may pick up their local delivery orders without parent accompaniment. MY MINI SITE Question: I'm trying to set up a "mini site" for my student. In the set-up form, what do I put under "website name"? Answer: On your student's mini site, put their name, nickname, etc. What that does generate a URL with that name added at the end. That URL then becomes your mini site where you can direct people to place orders. For example: By adding JaneActor the mini site URL became http://sffsalestrack.com/OCSAActing/JaneActor Question: How do I log into my mini-site? Answer: Go to https://bit.ly/OCSA-ACT. In the upper right corner is the link "Participant Login". Enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD. You will then be taken to "My Account Dashboard". Question: How do I track orders? Answer: Go to https://bit.ly/OCSA-ACT. In the upper right corner is the link "Participant Login". Once your student logs in, they will be taken to "My Account Dashboard". Orders can be viewed under the "View My Orders" link. SHIPPING Question: Do you ship to a PO box? Answer: No. It must be to a business or residence and in the contiguous US. Question: PayPal is saying the shipping address is my billing address, but I entered in the shipping addresses on the Sherwood Forest Farms online order form? Where will the items be shipped? Answer: The shipping addresses that you entered into the Sherwood Forest Farms online order form are where the items will be shipped. Question: I just placed an order for the fundraiser. The 'ship to' address on PayPal showed my home address. I didn't change it because I assumed the merchant will use the 'ship to' address I placed on the order form. Was this a correct assumption, or will I have to change the 'ship to' address on PayPal for all my orders (most are going elsewhere)? Answer: Your assumption was correct. The Sherwood Forest Farms ship to address is where the items will be sent. Question: I have some orders for friends/family in Canada, Texas and North California and would like to know how much is the delivery, if it's not included already with the cost of the wreath(s), to these locations? Answer: The direct delivery wreaths and items are priced to include delivery to the contiguous United States. Unfortunately, Canada is not an option. You would need to have the wreath directly delivered to you boxed nicely for shipping, and then you would need to do the shipping to Canada yourself. |
